Students explore the interconnectedness of the world around them by investigating how individuals both influence and, are influenced by, the social, environmental, economic and political systems around them. Students study a module of history, geography, civics and citizenship and economics each year and are exposed to real-world, authentic assessments with an opportunity to explore a range of modes of presentations.
Students cover essential learning at a faster pace and therefore can study the HASS course in greater depth, use critical thinking skills and participate in a range of relevant competitions.
Many GT Online Students have been successful in the Premier’s Anzac Student Tour, National History Challenge and Simpson Prize competitions over the last 10 years.
